My earliest memories were of staying at #3 with the fireplace, porch and the smell of the woodstove. The lights were oil lamps and Walter delivered ice for a real ice-box. We spent so many summers there and they're the best memories I have. I last saw Agnes in 2008 in Vernon and I would have liked to see Skipper, too. What a lady!

Aunt Agnes - you were truly a remarkable women. I have always missed our nightly visits at the farm when we were at the cottage in the summer. Every time I pick raspberries in my own raspberry patch - I think of you and how you let me pick berries in your garden. I will certainly miss writing letters to you while I was supposed to be working. Give Walter a big hug and a kiss from me.... until later...love always.

So sorry to hear about Agnes. She was a wonderful person in every way. I( Pat Hornsby) was their neighbours for many years. Yes she even did our wedding cake many years ago.
